Dubbo is situated 408 km north-west of Sydney, in the fertile Macquarie Valley where the Newell Highway, Mitchell Highway and Golden Highway meets.
By car, the Akuna Motor Inn is situated 1.5 km from Dubbo's CBD and 1.8 kms from Western Plains Zoo (just 2 minutes) on the Newell Highway going south towards Parkes. If travelling from Sydney. the Akuna can be found on the western side of the Macquarie River on the Newell Highway travelling towards Parkes. We are Only 5 minutes from the Dubbo Airport.
